What is HackAttack Juniors?

HackAttack Juniors is a one-day hackathon for students who are interested in technology, creativity, and innovation. Throughout the day, participants will explore coding and robotics, build their own projects, and collaborate with peers in a supportive and engaging environment. Designed for a range of experience levels, this event encourages students to learn new skills, think creatively, and gain confidence while having fun. A $20 participation fee applies. Who is HackAttack Juniors for?

HackAttack Juniors is for students ages 9–15 who are interested in coding, robotics, technology, and creative projects.

Do students need experience?

No prior coding or robotics experience is needed. The event is beginner-friendly, with support available throughout the day.

What will students do?

Students will explore coding and robotics, build a project, work with others, and share what they created at the end of the day.

Will students work in teams?

Yes. Students may work in teams, and participants who register individually can be placed with a group at the event.

What should students bring?

Students should bring a water bottle, lunch or snacks if needed, and a positive attitude ready to learn and create.

Do parents need to stay?

Parents do not need to stay for the full event, but they are welcome to return for the final showcase and closing portion.
