Website Developer Adventure HTML-CSS & JS (From Beginner to Advance)

This program introduces youth 11+ to the nuts and bolts of HTML (HyperText Markup Language), the programming language used to create web pages. They will learn what is HTML ? How it’s structured ? and learn the major tags and features of the language.

Discover how to format text and lists, add images and flow text around them, link to other pages and sites, embed audio and video, and create HTML forms. Additional tutorials cover the new elements in HTML5, the latest version of HTML, and prepare you to start working with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

Also teens will learn the principles and techniques of responsive design using the Bootstrap library.  As a website developer, it is your responsibility to ensure that your websites remain legible and visually appealing across a variety of screens and devices. Using responsive design techniques increases the accessibility of your website to a much larger audience of users.
In addition to building real-world websites to practice what they have learned before, youth will be learning new techniques in CSS (3) to add more functionality and interactivity to their websites.

Teens will learn JavaScript andhow to use JavaScript to enhance their websites. They will learn how to use JQuery library to add dynamic functionality to their website such as sliers, accordion, button and other effects.

Course Delivary:

This program will have two simultaneous delivery modes - online and in-person. The primary instructor will teach the students in-person and online, while the assistant teacher will be joining online to ensure that the students online are also progressing. Please note that once you select either in-person or online for your child, that is their delivery mode for the course duration, unless a notable exception is made. 

Who can register for Website Developer Adventure Program?

• This is a 18 months program .
• Any youth 11+ can join this program. No coding experience is required. 

How is the payment will be processed?

Payments will be auto-re-newed on the first of every month, depending on the number of classes. Using the month of January as an example, you will be charged $100 on January 1st, for the entirety of January 2022 because there are four classes in January ($25/per class)

There is a onetime $50 registration fee will be added to the first payment.

Youth need to bring their own laptop to the in-person classes.
